It’s the conversation you haven’t been asking for — Reihan Salam and I talking in NY mag about the Democratic National Convention. I think this is where I begin my slippery descent from the editor of an intellectual journal into a squishy mainstream pundit.

It was an unusual discussion, since we didn’t really challenge each others premises. I also forgot to ask Reihan questions back, so much of it reads like an interview, but it did quite well traffic-wise, probably because it was a novel break from the usual Democrat/Republican talking-head format.

I made an unfortunate plug for the Working Families Party though, which I think is all but useless at this point.
